I stayed her last year and it was an OK experience. Campground was kinda run down, the owners were nice, the bathrooms clean and close to ferry terminal. This year I wanted to stay again so I stop in to check the place out and noticed new people running it. I decided to head into PR. I called the office a few hours later to ask about tenting and fees. The lady was ingnorant and unhelpful and not only...I was qouted $35 unserviced and $10 if I only wanted to use the shower facilities. When I asked if her prices went up she lied and said No! Then I commented that she was a new owner and she also lied and said No. I further put her on the spot and she was vague and rude. Can stand liars!!! One star!!!
When I asked the new owner to buy some woods. He said $10 a bundle and it will be delivered in 4 hours. When asked if I could have it sooner, he said hell be down shortly. About 2 hours later, he brought a few chopped wood sticks and some old dirty painted broken fence boards with nails sticking out all over. He took my $10 and drove off in his golf cart!It was a rip-off!July 30/18
This place sucks. The sites are not level.... Wifi does not work even if it appears you are logged on to it. Management is not very helpful. We booked 8 months prior to our arrival we were told it our previous sites would not be honoured. I would give this park a zero star!!!!!
Clean campground and friendly at the front desk. The showers could use curtains to offer better privacy, but they were hot & clean and that's more important. Wifi doesn't work very well, but there are 2 different networks to try out. Nice place to stay.
Even though reservations were made eight months in advance, we were put in a very bad site. We ran out of blocking trying to get level. That included four other rigs that we were traveling with. One of our group complained to management of one of the permanent residents letting her dogs run loose and deficating on all sites. Days later, nothing changed. I realize new owners had recently taken over, but no effort to improve the campground could be observed. Captive clientele allows management free reign to do whatever they want. Our group would NOT recommend this site
